PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION
Uni-glosss, a solar reflective premium quality multi surface paint system is specially
formulated to protect substrate from external factors like UV radiation, high
humidity, rain and industrial pollution. Its unique formulation gives a glossy finish
and very good flexibility. Uni-glosss can be used as a alternate for enamels and can
be used for interiors also.
Uni-glosss: contains micronised minerals and extremely stable fine quality pigments
which render a smooth glossy finish, retains gloss for long period, is based on special
acrylic binder which ensures excellent adhesion to concrete/cement - sand
rendering, wood and metal, contains special additive which protects the paint film
against algae and fungi, forms highly flexible paint film, is extremely stable against
ultra-violet reaction / radiations, provides excellent alkali resistance.
SURFACE
PREPARATION
PLASTER
New masonry surfaces must be allowed to cure completely.
Recommended curing time is 28 days minimum. A coat of
Snowcem Special CW Primer is recommended for best
performance.
WOOD
Ensure the surface is clean and smooth. Visible cracks,
irregularities and undulations shall be rectified appropriately.
Apply one coat of CW primer as an undercoat.
METAL
Surface must be free from oil,grease and dirt. Use emery
paper 180 to sand the surface. Wipe clean and apply one coat
of Snowcem Red Oxide metal primer as an undercoat.
CLEANING
Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease.
Growth of fungus, algae or moss should be removed by wire
brushing and water. For old, friable and difficult masonry
surface: A coat of Snowsol stabilising solution is
recommended. For detailed information please refer

FILLING THE CRACKS, HOLES & DENTS
For filling cracks upto 3mm, holes and dents use Snowcare
Wall Putty or white cement and fine sand in the ratio 1:3
For exterior surfaces or substrates that are subjected to
continuous seepage or dampness, kindly get the repairs done
before the top coat application.

MIXING RATIO
For Concrete surface mix 3
Parts of Uni-glosss with 1 part
of clean potable water by
volume for first coat and 4
Parts of Unigloss with 1 part
clean potable water by
volume for second coat.
For Metal & Wood surfaces,
mix water 10% by volume for
best results.
COVERAGE
Coverage is 7-9 sqmt per litre
for 2 coat finish. Actual
coverage may vary according
to the porosity and texture of
the sur face. For metal
surfaces coverage may be
higher than the above. For
abundant precaution, an
initial trial may be undertaken
to de te rmine cove r ing
capacity on very rough or
abnormal surfaces
